Since Kilmakee Activity Centre opened its doors in the summer of 1981, it has been established as an important Centre for meeting the recreational needs of those who live on the Belfast side of the City.

 

Situated just off the main Lisburn-Belfast Road at Seymour Hill, Dunmurry, it is easily accessible to the residents of Derriaghy, Lambeg, Dunmurry and Finaghy areas, who have used it with increasing regularity over the past 24 years.

 

In order to meet the varied recreational/leisure demands of the local population, Kilmakee has developed a programme that is aimed at providing an enjoyable experience for all, whether their needs be sporting or less energetic.

 

Some of the regular activities include:

Old Tyme Dance Class, Evergreen Bowls Club, Archery Sessions, Age Concern, WomenÕs Toning Class, Judo Club, Legs, Bums & Tums Aerobics, Mini Youth Club, Hip-Hop, MenÕs Toning Class, Gymnastics Club

 

At Kilmakee Activity Centre, Birthday Parties are our speciality.

 

Kilmakee caters for persons with special needs. The building is easily accessible by ramps and all facilities are on ground floor level.
